Sigrun Sagedahl specialises in employment law and works particularly with companies within the oil/gas industry and the maritime industry as well as public owned enterprises. She therefore has extensive experience with employment law on land, offshore and at sea.
Sigrun’s experience ranges from larger reorganizations and downsizing where employer’s management prerogative and collective agreement conditions are central, to individual personnel matters.
She also has particularly good expertise concerning hiring of labour whether a contract is to be considered as contracting of services rather than hiring of labour, the Act relating to general application of collective agreements as well as requirements regarding the working environment. She also assists in connection with supervisions from The Labour Inspection Authority / Petroleum Safety Authority and in administrative fines and criminal liability for enterprises.
In addition to this Sigrun has had several assignments within conflict- and notification cases, either as an independent researcher for public and private enterprises or as an advisor to those who notifies or to whom the notification has been directed against. She has also represented several leaders who for different reasons wishes to negotiate changes of positions or a Termination agreement.
