Elisabeth Nygård assists developers in planning and building law matters in connection with development projects. She assists a number of municipalities and land owners in the same area.
This assistance includes advice throughout the entire process, from an area is reallocated/zoned in a zoning plan to the development project is completed through the building application process. Nygård has special expertise regarding sequencing requirements, development agreements with municipalities, as well as reimbursement claims (reimbursement agreements between private actors and reimbursement claims pursuant to the Norwegian Planning and Building Act’s provisions concerning reimbursement).
Nygård also assists developers and land owners in negotiations and implementation of land acquisitions, including appraisement and expropriation cases.
