Madicken Lea

Madicken Lea focuses her practice on dispute resolution, litigation and corporate legal counseling. She has extensive experience handling commercial disputes before the courts.

Lea spent over five years as an in-house legal counsel within the legal department at DNB Bank ASA (DNB Legal). While at DNB Legal, she was part of the Dispute Resolution section. She served as one of the bank’s litigation counsels in a diverge range of cases, including tort and liability claims (such as fraud cases and real estate broker liability), contract law matters related to loan agreements, and cases related to anti-money laundering (AML) legislation.

Lea has also spent nearly five years in private practice as a commercial lawyer. During this time, she was involved in several major commercial disputes, notably within construction law, ground lease law, general tort law, and professional liability
